Kiddie's pool

this morning's workout was a recovery ride 2.5hrs around UMS area.

then i went to fetch the gang to Sutera pool for a swim.
Denise n Ying2 had so much fun!

i like Denise's float .it has a pink shade to prevent her from getting sunburn. cool eh!

that bowl of soup was huge and everyone was served one.
it's chinese herbal soup with all the goodies....herbs, dried scallops,abalones.
i think one tablespoonful of soup cost Rm10!
it's darn expensive...luckily i wasn't footing the bill.hahaha!

Mum's birthday menus

Dad arranged some great food for dinner last nite.
By the 2nd course we felt very full as we had "monk jumps over the wall " soup...and there were 6 more courses to go!
i am not sure whay it's called that but i'm sure there's a story behind that name.

Year end celebrations

December is always a fun filled month for our family.
not just because of the festive season,xmas,hari raya haji...we also have 6 family birthdays in December!

yesterday was Mum's n Lorraine's birthday.
We celebrated at Coffee Beans during lunch then at Hyatt hotel in the evening

Our Xmas Dinner

Mum planned a big menu for xmas dinner ...cos Seow Ping n Melvin arrived Xmas Day.

Since it was a holiday ,i made good use of the morning for training.
swam 2k... biked 60k over a hilly loop then ran 4k.

for dinner we had home made mushroom soup, then roast chicken n rack of lamb, lots of healthy salads , prawn n egg salads, chicken drum sticks for the kiddies , lots of red wine... then dessert was some jell-0 and chilled honey dew with sago.

YIng2 goes swimming

i had a big workout yesterday...chasing Ying2 around the pools.
she was so excited she jumped from the kiddie's pool to the 50m pool n i think we went on the water slides more than 10 times!
She 's only 2 yrs so she cannt swim yet...but she has no fear of the water.

the hardest part was trying to convince her we had to go home for dinner.she refused to get out of the pool!

Ying Ying travelled on Business class to Sabah to spend xmas with us.
Blimey! even i haven't been on Business class in a long while.

Denise only had eyes for Ying Ying.so they rode the tricycle together.
then it was off to the book store to search for pecils n a drawing book to keep her busy at home.
tonight we will be celebrating Jame's Birthday at Tai Thong restaurant.
