Getting ready, Miss Popularity n Piety

just a few more days n i will be off to Sunshine Coast....more specifically Noosa.
I will be working in 2 dental clinics, a group practice of 6 dentists.
it will be an exciting new working environment for me and i am looking forward to learning new techniques.
In fact, a week into my job, my employer has already organised a weekend seminar in Melbourne for me!

The past 2 weeks i have been really busy sorting out my business arrangements.
So i haven't got round to much packing yet! o dear... i am really short of time.
So much to bring over i really can't decide!
i am ABSOLUTELY allergic to dust, so i have not been progressive in the packing department...every few minutes i would be sneezing, rubbing my eyes n getting itchy nostrils!!!!

All of a sudden , i have become Miss Popularity. Lunches n dinners are booked up everyday!
my uncles n aunts have been treating me to lovely meals , a sort of gathering cum farewell parties .
My friends came down all the way from Keningau , today Ah Wai is visiting me from Macau, n Razani also came to say farewell.
My waistline has been expanding! too much eating!
Above is my uncle Guan Yee(Dad's older brother) who looked after me when i was a wee girl.
I used to spend many weekends at uncle's house n he often brought me m my brother Melvin to markets to buy fresh fish.and he often cooked for us.Thiswas taken at Pan Pac buffet lunch last week.

Mum n Dad took me to the Guan Ying temple to ask for blessing.
yesterday was Ching Min, so i drove up to visit Grandpa n Grandma's tombsite in Papar.
It brought back memories of my grandad who was a super hero to all of us.
He used to send 50cents a week back to China to support his family, before he earned enough money to bring grandma n all his 15 children to settle down in Sabah.
In world war 2, he had to carry grandma to caves n other hideouts to escape the japanese enemies, because grandma had the traditional chinese bound feet n she couldn't walk.

My nurses n I Nishiki Japanese Restaurant. they have been with me for 10 years. I treat them as close friends.
