Hell's Gate

this is Hell's Gate! Aptly named because the rocks are treacherous and it's steep below.
My knees definitely shake a little everytime i step near the edge.
This has become one of my favourite running trails, you can reach here either through the coastal trail (number 4)
or Tanglewoods trail (number 2), and the view is just breath taking.
I normally like to run Tanglewood !

A view from one of the running spots: looking at where i started my run.
Usually takes me 45 minutes to get here from my home , so it's 1:30h round trip in the morning.
Noosa park has clean toilets....so I don't have to panic when i have the morning calls halfway through my runs!!
I would say surfers are one of the most motivated people on earth !
they get up earlier than me!!
Saturday's surf was supposed to be great so all the keen surfers were out .
You can see in the pic a group of surfers waiting for the right wave.
All that hard work to get to Hell's Gate.
let you in an embarrassing secret...on the way to Noosa Park , i slipped n fell!
ON hard Cement!! it wouldn't be so bad ....except i fell right in front of some young cyclists getting ready for a ride.
They asked if i were ok....of course i was!!!! i said and grinned....then later, i examined the damage....knees n elbows scratches...not very pretty, and bloody painful!
Anyway, it was made up with a rainbow I saw on the way home.
